I have lived in the Vista St. Clair going on four years now. Since I have moved so many times, each summer I have needed a new air conditioner installed. They do not take your old air conditioner out of the room you have previously lived in and they simply let the new occupant receive it for free. Their is only ONE person on the entire grounds of these apartments who supposedly can install these air conditioners, which you have to buy yourself for about 200 dollars each. On top of that they charge you 150 dollars for each air conditioner installed. It is the summer now, it is mid July, in the 100 degree weather every day, and I am on the verge of heat exhaustion every day. I have been on "the list" for two months to get my air conditioner installed, it has yet to be installed, and I am now told that the ONE PERSON who can do this went on VACATION. Perfect timing. They have not remedied the situation, there are still 12 people on this list, and I was supposedly third. I have been told this for three weeks now and nothing has been happening. I find this situation quite perplexing when I pay a hefty rent every month for the supposed upkeep and maintenance that this place supposedly offers. I have been nothing but the nicest, most understanding tenant and have never complained. This situation is becoming so dire I need three fans just to go to sleep at night. I have a two bedroom apartment which faces NW so the sun is in my room every day. Because of my large apartment, I need two airconditioners, and the man said he will only install one first. Great! That means it won't even work. How hard is it to get an air conditioner installed' This situation leaves MUCH TO BE DESIRED on the part of a negligent management.

Just wanted to point out a few minor details. We had you leave your old A/C in place when you moved to your third different apt. as it was less expensive to buy a new machine than pay the cost of reglazing the window openings. When your roommate shorted out all the bedroom, bathroom and hallway lighting while making un-authorized installations of fixtures and dimmers, we wasted close to 12 hours of time trouble shooting the cause of the short Ckt. You were not charged for this self induced problem but we were then out of time to do A/C installs. Putting in these units at a minimal cost is only possible after all new move ins/outs are accomplished as well as repairs to keep things operational. When we experience tenant caused damage to our systems, it seriously impacts our ability to do those "extra services" as you have seen.
