Well run building with a great location

I've lived in Vista St Clair Apts for 3 years (going on 4 years) and have lived in the Kings Hill neighborhood off and on since 1998.
Some of the previous comments prompted me to write this review as my impression of the building over the past few years and in comparison with the surrounding buildings I've lived in is quite different from the vitriolic and sardonic dismissing remarks that precede mine.
The building is well-run and well-managed. I've had the building respond to my repair needs promptly. The staff keep the building clean and the management is professional.
This is a 50 year old building. Parking spaces are bigger and better than most of the parking you find in the Pearl District and the summer heat--it's real especially in the south and east facing buildings but this is a fact for all these old, well-insulated buildings in our brief summer months. If that is a problem plan ahead and request air conditioner installation and by plan-ahead I mean in the spring, not the first week of July.
I've recommended this building to friends who've come and lived here and enjoyed it as much as I have. I continue to recommend this apartment
