Overall, a very nice place with enjoyable and large living rooms and very adequate kitchen and dining down with a nice master bedroom (two closets) and a cute, quaint bathroom. Second bedroom is perfect for a child or a roommate on a budget (the difference was pretty significant).
I had a unit on Vista Ave, which gave me entire place a great deal of natural light. Interior units do not have the light, but also avoid some of the noise from traffic between Wash Park / NW 23rd.
Awesome location - being right on the cusp on NW frankly was better than being in NW as it's just far enough to lose some noise and traffic but still only downhill away. Prepare for a good hill to climb, which can start to be a drag for some especially with a armful of groceries. Only a couple blocks from Washington Park and some great views of Mt Hood (and Mt St Helens if you know where to look - often obstructed).
Laundry in the basement (basements connect four to six units with secured storage) was well maintained and clean. A couple doors to the outside too so you can have your bike in a secured area (both locked and within your own private space) very easily - provides peace of mind considering all the bikes swiped in PDX.
Parking only on-street and with most locations in the area, it's a challenge. I didn't own a car during this time but my wife did (very small car). Some days were better than others. Spots didn't stay open long.
