Quiet street, quiet place, honest and conscientious managers live on-site, quick maintenance, pool in summer is sweet, loud parties not allowed, nice mix of folks, very affordable for WATERFRONT! (An old review whined about rent increase, its a great bargain in 2008 at $900 for a two bedroom!) Highly recommend. Low turnover speaks for itself. Walk to shops, busline close, lots of parks nearby esp the one with a beach by Oaks Amusement Park, is a 10 minute walk away. Low crime, nice neighbors. Highly recommend this place we have come to love.

This post was clearly written by the manager. Yes..it could be an amazing bargain if management offered quality repairs and maintenance. Everything is old and instead of replacing worn out plumbing, fixtures, etc...they just put a band-aid on the problem, so to speak. The pool is kept way too cold during the summer months. It is absolutly FREEZING!!. The explanation for this is that the electric bill would be too high otherwise. If that was true, then what was the rent hike for??? Oh..and don't get me started on the laundry rooms. The community laundry rooms are dirty and hours are not consistent (one building is open all evening and one is closed at 9 pm (sometimes). Very confusing! As the last post stated, this place is in a great location..but could be much "sweeter" if things were ran better and tenants were treated with the respect they deserve. Much improvement needed, I'm sorry to say. Just recently signed a new lease, but if things don't change, I won't stay.
