First off, I would like to state that we have lived here for over a year and getting ready to sign into a new lease. This would not be happening if the property is has horrible as previous reviews would say. They are beautiful units with a reasonable price. Some of the things people are compaining about are just rediculas. Examples:
*Noise- Any apartment type place you live in you will hear noise every now and then. Common sense. It depends on your neighbor what you hear and when and if you have a problem with it (here's an idea) Try talking to your neighbor!
*Appliances- I will agree with other reviews and say that the dishwasher leaves a lot to be desired. You do have to basically wash all your dishes before running them through the dishwasher. The other appliances are great though, very nice large 'freezer on the bottom' fridge, good stove/oven, and a stackable washer and dryer. Try finding that in another 'apartment'.
*Internet- The internet service provided does suck, but it IS free and if you ask about it in the office, they will tell you that it's not very good.
*Parking- Every home here comes with a garage. 1 or 2, it might not be huge, but they don't say they are roomy. We have a 1 car garage and there is plenty of room for a car and still space for storage. Just try to find another property that has a garage (especially attached) and that doesn't charge you extra for it, good luck.
Parking on the street at times does suck. But there has never been a time that I was unable to find a parking spot. You might have to walk a little bit farther than you would like to but big deal, like it will hurt you to get a little extra exercise.
*Fitness Center- Yes, it is small, But it does have GOOD top of the line equipment in it. And once again, it is free so why complain' If you don't like it, go pay for a gym membership.
*Pool- The pool is small but it is better than no pool at all.
*Heating/AC- Most of the homes have gas heating throughout. In my unit there are electric heaters in every room. We like this better because then we can choose what temperature to heat each individual room to, so we dont pay extra for heating rooms that are not being used. There are no air conditioners in the units, but there aren't in most of the places here.
*Management- I have had no problems with the management. I think they are friendly and professional. If you make a complaint, it may take more than a couple hours, or even a day or 2, but look around you, they have a lot to deal with but are sure to get everyone taken care of.
*Maintenence- Nothing bad to say here. They always get whatever you need taken care of in an extremely timely manor. Usually the same day that you need it.

Some people need to get a life and realize that they are living in one of the best places in/around Portland, and quit whining.
