Overpriced ghetto

I have lived here just over a year and the complex has gotten consistently worse. Neighbors are noisy and unless you keep all of your windows closed you will hear them. It is not unusual for the police to respond to disturbances involving drunks and domestics. Tenants come in late at night and yell or play band instruments at 3:00 am. There is another apartment complex across the street that has noisy tenants with screaming kids and pounding stereos.
There is no central air conditioning and there are severe restrictions on window air conditioning units allowed to be used by renters. The third floor of the townhouse is literally a sauna for 2-3 mos. a year.
The groundskeeping is unkempt with doggy disposal can sometimes overflowing and no maintenace pickup on the grounds for dog poop left by irresponsible owners.
Parking is often a problem due mostly to vehicles and RVs being abandoned on the street by those same tenants who have extended families move in. (One RV and 3 cars actually remained unmoved for 11 mos. before being finally removed by law enforcement.) Safeguard predatory towing only removes vehicles parked by garages and uses their "authority" abusively to hassle residents with legitimate short-term parking needs. (One woman had her car towed while she was taking her mother back home from the hospital.)
The only good thing is that most unit maintenance is handled promptly.
On top of all of this, rent was boosted in August by a whopping $200/month with only a 30 day warning!
Yes, you too can live in this lap of luxury for a mere $1454.00 per month PLUS gas, electric, trash and cable!
