I took a tour of Wimbledon and they seemed
to have the nicest staff but after I signed on the dotted line(the Lease) they turned evil. The washers and dryers are nasty and gross, My clothes had gotten stained from their use -you would think the $2 bucks more like 3 because the dryer really doesnt dry clothes well- would paye for someone to clean it once in a while. The hot tub is nice when it is not closed down for one reason or another which is about 70% of the time and My electricity bill went sky high and I hate the fact that you can't use money orders which cost less than a dollar to pay your rent but they require you to have a cashiers check -which you have to go stand in line at the bank for 15 min to find out you have to pay $6-$15 for a cashiers check depending on where you go. I was so mad that I signed a year lease!
My car was stolen during the day around 6pm. and they staff had totally lied during in the tour saying the cars were safe because of the security camera's well first of all no one watches the cameras, because they can't see anything but shadow and leaves. And there are no security patroling the lots the only people that patrol the lots are the tow truck drivers. I had my car towed once because they said the sticker was in the wrong place. I had reimbursment for that-but a total inconvience. Finally it was 2 months before my lease was up and I called the office to see how much my rent was going to go up. they said they couldnt tell me just yet-so I started to look for a place anyway. and I called the office because I knew my new place wouldn't be ready until the
#rd and I was supposed to be out on the 1st so I paid the $90 prorated a week before the 1st and I made it clear to the person I spoke with on the phone that I would be moving out on the 3rd, It was summer time and it was hot so I slept downstairs on my couch and I happen to sleep naked, The afternoon of the 1st the maintenent man walks through my living room and Im naked I didnt hear a knock but he barges in anyway I informed him that I was moving out on the 3rd and to get the hell out of my house. Finally on the third I was out of that hell hole. The office was close so I thought the appropriate thing would be to leave the keys on the kitchen counter instead of putting it in their cheesy drop box where you can stick your hand in and pull anything you want out of it. Then I am finally in my new place what a sweet, cheaper place it is. I get a bill in the mail for prorated rent that is due. I call them up and told them I had paid what I owed and I had moved out on the 3rd not the 8th like I told the lady who I gave me the estimate for the prorated 3 days and the maintents man who walked in my apartment and all she had to say was oh well "you need to own up to your responsibilities, and you should have came back and put the key in my hand"--I was moving out of state I wasnt going to drive 5000 miles just to hand her keys, I told her i left the keys in the apt, and all she said was oh well you still need to pay. or it will be on your credit report.
Total Theives
I wouldn't move back there in a million years!
