Not Safe, Staff Useless From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 9/27/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   I left town for a weekend and the complex decided to repaint the parking lot. They notified us of this by sticking a note on my door but since I wasn't there to receive it they "relocated" my car without making any other attempt to contact me. My car dissapeared this same weekend and hasn't been recovered. While they claim to have security cameras they do not moniter the parking lot and are not recorded so they were of no help. Later some pool furniture was stolen and they notified us if it wasn't returned they were going to enter every apartment (without permission from the tenant) and search for it. My air conditoning broke during a heat wave. I have a medical condition that makes it dangerous for me to be in very warm weather so I was unable to stay in my apartment. I informed them of this but it still took them over 3 weeks to install a new (and defective) one. Their maintence crew didn't know how to install the replacement one and ended up ripping a hole through my wall and leaving it open for several days. When they did finally install the replacement one it was installed so that the panel was outside in my shed (which has no lights) so it could only be turned on from outside of my apartment. When I told the maintenence guy that that didn't seem reasonable he stormed out of my apartment and slammed the door. Don't be fooled by the rent prices, either, because they will add on additional fees that they can adjust at any time. For instance they charge for water, garbage, and sewer, but these charges change each month (though everyone is charged the same amount). I asked for an estimate but my last bill was twice what they told me.
