I had lived here for 9 months. When I had first moved into this complex, I knew that it was an older unit and not to expect the greates!! However before I moved into this place I specificly asked if there was any mold issues as Me and my 15 year old daughter are highly allergic to mold. I was told with a straight face via the manager Herald Hendrichsen 'NO- No mold in the unit". We moved in towards the middle of Summer. Once Fall kicked in and the rain started heavy,I noticed black furry
mold all over the ceiling of my bedroom and in the carpet! I noticed downstars mold in the refrigerator growing, in the carpet via the sliding glass door and in the bathroom's on the ceiling. I used fans regularly and opened windows ( even doors for circulation)! When the mold issue was brought about all that was done was maintance came in and sprayed bleach on the mold and called it good! When the rain started getting heavy and bad I noticed mositer around electrical sockets and actuak water coming from an outlet downstairs. My Tv blew up one day when we had a power surge! Needless to say when my lease was over I ended up not renewing and finding an apartment that I am used too! A newer unuit with no mold issues! When I had moved I had to give away most of my belognings ( clothes , Furniture etc..) As they had mold on them! It is really sad as I am a single parent with a good job who works very hard for her things and had expensiv things that I just had to toss! Some of these things had family value and had to be tossed!
