Liked the place when we moved in. It is a unique floor plan with a lot of space for the size of it. They let us personalize the unit the way we wanted it, and it was quite nice.
In the end, we had an ant infestation that took months to fix. We had to throw away countless amounts of food that the ants got into. They were so bad that we found them in our clothes, sheets, just all over the place. In addition to that, the maintenance man flipped us off after being asked to fix something and he refused to do it until the following week. Further, birds had nested in our eve. Staff was told about 5 times and it was never addressed. The birds had chicks, staff were asked to wait until the chicks were gone. Instead of waiting, they sealed the eve off, killing the birds.
The ducks and fountains got on our nerves at times, but were usually enjoyable.
We always had people coming to the doors to sell us a newspaper, or pray for our souls and Jehovah, despite the "No Soliciting" signs.
They hardly ever cleaned the hottub, and really only ever did so when residents complained about it being dirty.
We caught a staff member sleeping in an empty apartment one day too!! (You shouldn't leave the blinds open and lights on when you're supposed to be working at night.) When we told the manager about it, she defended him, saying he was "a good worker."
Finally, they wanted to raise our rent and charge pet rent in addition to our pet deposit, but did away with the pet rent after numerous complaints.
In general, the office staff is nice and helpful, but the corporation seems to be a little greedy and uncaring of their residents. It could be a very nice place.
