Yards at Union Station

Current Tenent From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/24/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006 1 response   I moved in here at the end of July and I am loving it dont have many problems with anything but that damn train late at night. Sorry but it just seems like the train conductor is alittle too happy with that wistle at night. I dont mind it during the day but they need to have a noise ordinace or something for those dang trains at night. I get awoken at 2-3am in the morning due to those trains. I love where the place is located but I could do without the bumms that live under the Steal Bridgde. I honestly think it has to do with what complex you live in... because I had to move out of the apartments by the Broadway Bridge because they were WAYYY tooo loud and there were always too many drunks around on a friday/saturday night. I live on the side where the weight room is and have found it is 10xs quiter. I cant say anything about parking because I use the Max and the buses Saftey.... well I can say one thing the Yards isnt the type of inviroment I would want my kids (if I had any) living in. Its for the young at heart but not the young in mind or elderly. The Inteior needs alot of help though... kind of sad when you are going down the hallway to your apartment and part of the carpet is missing or lifted up and you can tell that they have tried to fix it with a hot glue gun and the carpets look like nobody has replaced them for a good 10yrs... stains everywhere
