Yards at Union Station

Pleasant living, conveniently located From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/24/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   I have lived at the yards since March 15, 2007. At the yards you are within walking distance to many of the bus lines within fareless square. You will find yourself within walking distance to: the Post Office, the Grey Hound Station, and Union Station. Banks, restuarants, coffee shops are all withing a reasonable walk or a short bus ride. I have a spacious terrace and my apartment, although small, has an excellent layout. The water pressure is excellent and the fixtures are new, as is the building. The trains can be loud for some, but I adjusted within a week or so. The staff is excellent. Overall I would rate my living experience at the Yards to be a 4.5 out of 5. I am not giving a 5 for the following reasons: my unit does not have a washer/dryer, many units do, but mine based on size was not equipped with a full size washer and dryer . The laundry facilities are however excellent. Secondly my terrace is on an enterance level and should have had a gate installed, rather than continuous railing. These things are minor and I was aware of them before moving in. I expect to stay for about 5 years.
