I've lived here for over a year. My apartment and the building are just fair at best. Despite the obligatory rent increase the building maintenance appears to be going downhill. The walls in the hallway on my floor were prepped for paint months ago, but so far nothing has happened. The stairwells are very dirty. Since the day I moved in least two to three washers or dryers have been broken at all times. Maintenance requests involving the laundry room (online or in person) are ignored. The office staff is defensive and unhelpful.

My complaint is the opposite: it seems every time I turn around they are painting something: the exterior of the building, the railings--> I feel like I'm living in a construction zone. I find the landscaping lovely and the level of maintenance good. The washers in my building have rarely been out of service--- though I find the dryers take longer then they should to dry a load of laundry.

I went over a month waiting for maintenance requests to be answered and had to submit it online over three times and finally call and plead my case to someone. Everything was finally fixed and I was sooo happy, the maintenance people did a great job (when they finally do it) and I did thank them when I saw them that afternoon. But yes, The yards is unimpressive! Yeah they are painting the outside of the building...but how long did that take...? the stairwell is nasty, the elevators are constantly littered, and written and tagged in. For $1250 a month you would think they would be more on top of things.

We've lost our good maintenance man in our building. He was on top of keeping the place cleaned up (elevators, laundry room, stairwells, halls). Now it looks like we have a weekly service, at best. B-1 is the building I'm talking about. And laundry room repairs take months now. Individual unit repairs are done quickly, in my experience. And I still like living here.
