Office Personnel, not that bright

I lived in GSL properties for five years, 3 at the Yards. In the last year, the office personnel went from rude to incompetent
The grounds are dirty, the buildings interiors' are filthy & offensively stinky. (The first floor elevator buttons of the A Building have been covered in some sort of oily soot for 2 months)
Numerous requests for assistance & repairs have gone unheeded.
I have never lived in a place, once decent, that became so gross & ill-kept.
If they give a damn, it's spent all on updating their personal myspace pages & smoking pot (on duty) with residents. (Unfortunately, I have proof of my accusations & plan on informing their corporate headquarters.)
Take my advice, check out any of the income controlled apartments in the pearl district, they're comparably priced, clean, have more rigorous screening processes (i.e., fewer truly dangerous individuals (there was a bloody, daylight stabbing at the Yards in 2005, among other violences I witnessed)), and much more pleasant staff members.

I can't believe you could stand living here for 3 years!!! I lived here in 2004 for 6 months until i couldn't take it anymore. My roommate's car was stolen in daylight, and my only means of transportation (my bike which was chained up) was stolen from the garage. I agree, this place is very unsafe and the staff doesn't do didly squat to resolve issues.

I liked GSL (& The Yards) prior to 2005. In my opinion, the staff turnover & burn-out is to blame.
