So, If I can swallow my pride at being treated like I'm a liability and a burden rather than a customer by the rude cow of a manager, the prices are low and the place is decent. (The assistant manager is cool though.) Parking is a pain sometimes as they do not enforce the rules about only residents parking there.

When I first moved in, after a $1,100 deposit for my cats and move-in, I forgot to pay $50 of the pro-rated fee. Instead of a friendly call, letter, or notice, I received the legal yellow 72 hour eviction notice on my door. Well, that made me feel welcome... not.

While most of the residents are peaceful and the place seems safe for property and crime-free, there can be isolated pockets of tweakers and partiers flipping out on drugs in the parking lot at 3 am. (Read: Hysterical screaming like a dingo stole her baby) I wish the management would pay more attention to these people than to every minor infraction in the book. (Like hopping their fence to go over to Safeway occasionally.)

It's hard to take a person seriously when they resort to name calling. I mean, that's what my kids do. I've lived here for a while now and I haven't seen any of this. Sorry but I just don't see it the way you do. This may just be a case of the chip on your sholder creating a lot of trouble for you. Good luck, my friend.

Any one who doesn't have the good sense or decency to use their name when trashing a business or person (so nice of you call the manager a "cow") is either blatantly telling falsehoods or a coward. It sounds like you have an unusually high sense of what your pride is worth.... try following simple rules and filing a complaint if you have a LEGITIMATE issue. Didn't you hear the old adage growing up, "If your friends jumped off a cliff, would you?" ? Just because your neighbor was doing something AND seemed to be getting away with it doesn't mean it's alright for you to do it. AND, I would beg to differ with your opinion, I have personally seen the staff ask people who were not tenents to move vehicles AND I have seen them ticket tenents for consistently having non registered vehicles parked on the property! You might take into consideration that you don't see every move that management takes OR every citation that they write! I'd personally trying paying your bills on time, following the simple rules and giving the management some slack! Anne McMakin

Just FYI for anyone who cares. The deposit for a cat is $300.00 (I have one and that is what I paid in 2008.) The regular deposit makes out at $500.00, can you say exaggeration?
