At first it was fine, until management change

I moved in because it was the best rent I could find and I like the apartment. Before I moved in I noticed an odd odor but could not really figure it out. I let management know but they never investigated it. It would be strongest if we opened the cabinets under the sinks. I cleaned with bleach weekly and the odor would not go away. Months later I had discovered that the people downstairs from me were cooking meth and had alot of animals that just used the apartment as a toilet. All was well other than that until new management came into play. That is when the problems began. I could not get things fixed in a timely manner(according to Landlord/tenant laws). Then after about the 3 full management change they decided that they were going to hike up the rent. I was going from $495 to $650. That was ridiculous to raise rent so much. The excuse was that they were going to put in stackable washer/dryer units. They took away the pantry closet. During this time they had construction in and out of the apartments. One evening I came home at about 10pm to find that my door was left open. I found that important personal files were gone, my computer was on and other things taken(Credit Cards, etc) I called management immediately, left a message, at which they never called back. I went to the office the next day, informing them that they were not to come into my apartment again unless I was there. They told me that they could do whatever they wanted. I then informed them they would be trespassing and that I would call the police if they did. I moved out as soon as I could get out of there. To this day, I know some people that still live there and they have never gotten the washer/dryer units and that they raised their rent up past the $700 mark. So, if you ask me, I would think twice before moving in. Interview some of the residents prior to going to the office and signing a lease. 6TrHFn6pn7poyqNlKEgn
