I have lived here for about 6 months. I was shown a beautiful model home and told my apartment would look somewhat like this. Completely untrue. There are many issues with this place-management is ran by three prissy girls that have the attitude they'd rather be somwhere else. I recently upgraded to there townhouse and watched there maintenace man smoke inside with the windows closed; after freshly painting and putting in brand new carpet. The other one drinking beer. I have ants. I have a leak in my bathroom. I've been waiting for a cutting board and towel rack for months. They always seem to "put in work oders" but never get any of the work done. They focus there time on making the place look beautiful and act completely fake to get you to sign there outrageous lease acting like you get such a steal. When really your screwed. Im screwed until 2010. I will be breaking my lease ASAP. There workout room is dinky and you can NEVER get in it during reasonable hours because it is overtaken. They leave for hours during the day and lock everything up including the workout/rec room and tanning. Before i signed a lease i was told the tanning was free and conviently right after i move in they decide to charge tenants.
They tell you there washer and dryers are ran by your DEBIT cards. when really you have to pay 3 dollars to get a card and the dryers like to pop open and your money starts all over.---still has yet to be fixed.
people park in my NUMBER spot all the time and they claim they have an after hours number to contact them, but they NEVER call you back.
at night the parking is ridiculous. Two cars are suppose to be to every home. Yet you will see MANY MANY cars to apartments rented out to the young college students.
Apparently there towing rule is only inforced during there office hours. 9-6. Most people don't get off work until 6 or later and you better belive you will HIKE to your home.
This place is beautiful if they didn't have maintenace men that half ass there job and unprofessional management that don't do their job. One of the ladies lives in PORTLAND. the other claims she lives right here in the apartment complex. If she does like she says than i can't believe she hasn't noticed any of the crap going on around here like the rest of us do.
Dont be fooled. you can get way more for your money else ware.
I do rate them well on there landscaping, only reason it is kept up is to attract more customers. Thats how they work.

I was really really mad at the management when i wrote that comment above. i did apologize for the "prissy" comment, but i stood behind my claims.

I did recieve a call from the managment after posting this. Of course.
They did give me my cutting board. I do sound like the crazy lady thats mad over a cutting board, BUT that was just one more thing to add.

To be fair- they have improved in some matters.
The parking is still really bad.
The parties still continue.
Recently cars have been busted into. My windows were busted out and my radio ripped out.subs, baby stuff etc.
i thought maybe i had an enemy i didnt know about, but ive talked to neighbors and theres were busted into also.
Security really needs to be here.
They have taken care of the ants.
For anyone who lives here i was told every wednesday the bug spray guy comes if you let them know in advance they should come.
however i was told he would come once and never did. but they gave me traps and they've seemed to work.
also theres a new manager-the old manager told me this. so who knows if that continues i assume it does.

the maintenance men are nice peoople. i did have a bad experience with them, but whatever.
she did offer me some tanning for the situation i had.

she swears my messages never got to her.
there is a new manager now. never met her. no problems with her. i do see cops patrolling alot lately, i dont know if its because of the noise or what.

there are some seedy looking people moving in. i constantly see people moving in an out.

just stating the facts.
and i do believe the good reviews are from the previous manager. she ovbiously gets on here and reads about all this because she called me after my comment. i did go above her head and e-mailed the property manangement but never got a response.

I think my concerns really needed to be addressed.
I felt the phone call between her and I was good, but also pointless.

We didnt really come to agreement on anything. I sort of felt like i was talking to a teenager. She was trying to justify every situation or come up with some sort of "reason" as to why it wasn't addressed. ie; "well maybe this happened"

but like i said there is a new manager now. never met her.

I personally would still like to move. and plan on doing so. it is very nice looking apartments and the landscaping is still beautiful. its also a really nice pool with lots of layout chairs and tables.

Just a week ago, i moved out of my apartment from Forest Ridge. As the usual, i cleaned the apartment and left it in a decent order. Sure enough, i receive a letter from the management saying that i owe over 500$ in maintenance fees. They charged me $210.00 for painting the bedrooms (which the manager claimed was covered all in the administration fee that i had to pay when i moved in) a $135.00 cleaning fee, when i had left the apartment in perfect condition, $65.00 carpet cleaning fee, and a concession reimbursement of $250.00 which i dont even know what it is for. Therefore, i strongly discourage anyone to move into these apartments. The apartment complex is ran by a bunch of -------, whose only interest is to take advantage of you and your money. Please think twice before moving there.
