Where do I start. Initially when I moved in over 2 1/2 years ago the apartments appeared well maintained and the grounds appeared well kept. Then I moved in. First off every electrical outlet in the apartment is loose and most appliances don't work without fiddling with the plugins. The cabinet doors kept falling off the hinges. The bathroom fixtures constantly fall off the wall, I gave up over a year ago trying to keep the towel bar and toilet paper roll on the walls. The upstairs neighbors ran their water 24/7. You can hear every movement upstairs that takes place. I have survived 3 different tenants living above my head. NONE of them were quiet. The current ones pace all night long making the floor creak over my head while trying to sleep. I gave up complaining about it years ago. I enjoy the covered parking however quite often I have come home after a long day at work to have someone in my spot. Might as well give up trying to find another. They have a spa which I have never used because it's been down for repairs the majority of the time I have lived here. The pool this summer was filthy, and overcrowded with non residents. I paid an extra 25.00 a month for the pool view....but I can't use it. Then about the beginning of the summer we started hearing what sounded like a wounded animal howling at night. Only to discover it was a couple that lives close to us err.... coupling. Amusing at first it soon became annoying, being awakened usually in the wee hours of the morning. A few times in the middle of the day, they cleared out the pool. It's still going on despite repeated complaints to the management. Keep in mind these are supposed to be family oriented apartments. I mean really you can hear them all the way to Coral Avenue just about. NOW my lease is about to expire again and they want me to sign another 12 - 15 month lease with a 20 dollar rent increase. The increase is reasonable but they also want to tack on a 9.95 a month trash expense also due with the rent. If I don't want to sign a lease and convert to month to month they want 733.00 a month to live here....., an increase of 167.95 dollars a month. Can you say the word 'extortion''' The office personnel have always been nice to me however nothing gets done. Should I mention the swampland' They have overwatered to the extent that the grass has turned into a marsh, filled with the DOG CRAP nobody picks up, and mushrooms are growing. I should mention the landscaping that goes on in the morning quite often on Saturdays around 7 - 8 am, a time when one might like to sleep in. Noise is a problem here, from parties, and car alarms, to just plain loud people walking by the windows. The outside of the buildings are in disrepair. My patio has dry rot like you wouldn't believe. Overall I've put up with alot of crap living here but the rent increase would be the last straw I'm outta here. I am sorry to say I can not recommend these apartments to anyone.

I think I live close to this person. I have a pool view also. I've heard the coupling couple, but I don't remember it being very often. Also, I have never seen mushrooms, never seen overwatering of the grass, and the people come on Friday, not Saturday, to do the maintenance. They come in the afternoon, not the morning, so they only bother the people with their own schedule who sleep in, or graveyard people. I think this review is a bit too harsh...as I've always had success in getting the office to jump when I complain of neighbors parking in my spot, etc. Our rent increase from one lease to the other was only $23. Not the extortion this person complained of. Though we did sign another 12 month lease. It would have been higher if we would have gone month-to-month. Just my observations.
