Check your deposit refund! They double-charge!

After 12 months of enjoying our residence at Lancaster Commons, when it came time to give the 30-day notice, everything turned sour. Not only did they treat us rudely, when we finally go our deposit back, the itemized list (which many people probably don't check) indicated charges which made no sense... When we called them on it, they giggled and said "oops" and refunded us the FOUR HUNDRED AND EIGHTY DOLLARS they tried to "trick" us out of. When the check was late, we called them, they told us the check was in the mail (we did eventually receive it,) but they again changed their story about how their charging system, saying that we owed them money, which we didn't. It is a huge fiasco!! Stay away! They try to take advantage of people. We have a spotless record, are both college graduates, and never were late on a rent payment. Many of the people who live in Lancaster Commons are young, on fixed incomes, or are non-english speaking immigrants: I wonder how much money they are conning these people out of!!
