Willamette View

This was not a bad place to live for a first apartment. Most of the time friends would comment that we paid too much, but it was a lot safer than living off of some parts of commercial, downtown Salem and anywhere in NE. The grounds were very well maintained as were the apartments. The management team was nice, although we went through 3 assistant managers in like 2 years. The only problems we had included parking because we only got one assigned parking spot, some noise and what appeared to be Hobo spiders. The noise was only bad at night because of inconsiderate neighbors. Management was quick to act though whenever a tenant became unruley or out of line which was great. I don't know what it was like to live in the 2 bedroom apartments, but in the one bedroom area it was rather quiet. The only thing that I felt was not taken seriously was the fact that we ended up with a real spider problem. We found them everywhere and it didn't seem to matter what we did, they kept coming back. Finally after looking online to see what kind it was we disovered they maybe Hobo spider and told management. Nothing was ever done about the situation so we moved. I just didn't want to risk getting a spider bite from a Hobo or having one bite my dog.
