Very Expensive Slum
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 7/3/2008
Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008
Although there is on-site laundry room it has been closed to renters for 9 months, renters were locked nightly by the managers it does not matter if your clothing is in the machines or not at the appointed time you are locked out. This also means the GYM is also closed and there is no access for renters.
The grounds were attractive but only because a few of the renters were planting flowers, watering, weeding and in general making the place attractive while the managers did and still do nothing in the way of up keep.
Renter do not stay long most leave at the end of the one year lease, rental rates have increased 35% in 2 years. You can forget about getting repairs done quickly if at all.
None of the apartments are large and all have tiny rooms there is nothing in any of the apartment would make them worth the rental cost they are asking.
Most people would blame the managers and in this case they share the blame by being lazy, it is the owners of the property that have raised the rents but not made repairs. The owners are not making the managers do their jobs, the complex is a slum if this were some other city the owners would be considered slum lords. They want the profits to stay the way they are and not spend any of their own money to repair the place. If you must rent get in so you have a roof over your head then find something better and leave. I looked at this place and have a few friends that still live on the property but are talking of leaving due to the constant rent increases it would be cheaper for the to buy.
Be fore warned the police make frequent visits to this property, and they are not social calls.
