Lovely apartment extremely high crime

I have lived at Sunfield Lakes for over 2 years. The apartments are open and airy with a very homelike floorplan. The manager who has been negatively reviewed, Gail, has been replaced. Her replacement just started so I have no experience of her.
Unfortunately, there is a very high incidence of crime at Sunfield. My car has been egged 3 times as have several others. One car had acid poured on it in addition to the egg. The Sherwood police are very responsive and do regular car and foot patrols of the property.
Not so responsive is the management. They act as if it's no big deal. There are lights on Sunfield property that have been inoperative for at least 3 years and Sunfield refuses to repair and maintain them. With the addition of these lights, the area where these vandals operate wouldn't be so dark. This type of crime needs darkness and Sunfield management along with the property management company, Guardian, appear to be happy to continue to provide a dark area and complacent attitude.
If you value your car, keep looking. This may be the only upscale apartment in Sherwood, but Sherwood isn't the only place you can live. Check Tualatin, Tigard or Wilsonville - I am.

If you are looking for an aparment in Sherwood, it is older but really nice, try the Murdock Apartments. Some friends of mine have lived and currenlty live there and love it.

I've had the same problem at the Guardian property where I live in Tigard ... outdoor lighting is not getting repaired and therefore, crime increases. We have had our mailboxes broken into repeatedly and the lights are burned out and have been for a few YEARS! Management does NOT care!
