Not the best, not the worst

Please read entire comment: I moved into this apartment without viewing it first. The staff at times seemed unpleasant but were generally good with me over the phone. When I moved in I was delighted at the size of the one bedroom for one person. As time moved on, things stayed adequate until they removed the handle lock (not the deadbolt) from all of the tenants doors. Doing this left the door unable to close, the flashings were falling off and the molding was weak, water damage most likely. Upon asking them to fix it, I was greeted with a belittling conversation and was treated poorly by all but one staff member, especially maintenance, insisting that they had the door working fine when they left it. It took 3 visits before the door would shut properly. Now I'm worried about moving out and being charged a ridiculous amount of money for damages that I haven't done, and being charged for things they were going to do anyway (painting, cleaning fees, etc...).
If you are going to live here, its not bad for a place to sleep and hang out. If you are a quiet tenant and don't need much then you will most likely find it to be a fine apartment to be in. No problems started until I needed something fixed.
Laundry is o.k. hours aren't ideal 9am-9pm.
Neighbors are pretty quiet.
Cable used to be included but I believe Comcast pulled out of the contract, rent is staying the same instead of dropping to compensate expenses.
I'm moving so I can live in a better neighborhood and be closer to my job. The decision was just made easier after several issues with maintenance and staff developed. SROlYjGrgm2VnM-SactV
