We have lived here over a year. The biggest problem we have is MOLD (in the winter and spring and fall)! There are no window sills and the windows are old & thin. The windows have metal sliders that creates a beautiful petri dish for mold to grow, along with no ventilation that causes condensation to completely cover your windows. I have to dry the windows once to twice a week and I am constantly bleaching away the mold. I even air out the apt to allow ventilation (wich raises the heating bill, but you have a slightly less amount of mold) The mold stinks, its orange, black, green, and pink. Maintence has come out to see it and they just keep telling me to keep bleaching it. Im sick of it, Its especially bad in the bedroom and gives me and my fionce headahces. Many spiders come in between the gaps under the doors, windows even from around the bathroom door frame in the Fall! They are big hairy suckers too. yuck! The neighbors are ok. However when you have a noise complaint for instance, a dog howling from the apt below... It sounds like its in bed next to you. You can hear the neighbors cough, flush the toilet, run the water, PAPER THIN WALLS. Oh and as for the noise complaints.... they dont do any good. You just end up living with it. Other than that... the staff is nice. The park is nice. The price..well you get what you pay for! Oh PS... If you park your car where your front bumper is near to grass watch out for the lawn mowers!!
The pictures are after cleaning with bleach. Its stained or in the sheetrock..

i think this person didnt know how to clean appropriately. this is oregon. as for the paper thin walls, thats ok, at least your neighbors dont fight and listen to telemundo at the top volume till midnight like ours do!

Oh let me tell you I cleaned them with multiple cleaners and bleach. The apts ended up spray painting over it with killz it. My husb allergies were terrible while living there, whenever he would walk through the door he instantly started sneezing and his nose would run... anyway there is a mold problem our surrounding neighbors also delt with mold too. No matter the cleaning you do it grows. According to Multnomah county I cleaned exactly as they reccomend. The place is a dump held together with duct tape. The maintence is ----, they have no idea what they are doing and noise complaints are not delt with.
