Changes with the staff have brought a more cold business like treatment of tenants

When I first got here, I was very pleased with the way they treated the tenants. But with their change with the supervisor, there was also a change in the way the tenants were treated. One example: I dropped off the rent check in their rent drop off box next to the mail boxes. It got lost somehow--and this was the second time. The first time it happened and I was charged a late penalty fee, I brought the matter up to the manager and she was understanding and removed the penalty fee and actually paid the check cancellation fee. But the second time it happened, there was no attempt to understand the situation--especially when it was their mail box that my check got lost in! Even after I showed them the proof, the cancelled check, they did not budge and I ended up paying $115 more that month. Incidents like this may be rare for most people but it is very telling of the kind of staff and management you will have to deal with when you move in. I cannot recommend an apartment where the mood of the apartment is by and large shaped by a corporate mindset than a genuine care and understanding for a community. 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
