I would move back... but... From: nancya2007 Date posted: 4/27/2007 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2005   Having always being an home owner, this was my first apartment experiance and I was completly satisfied at first. I lived in a 1 bed unit on the ground floor, with attached garage, with one unit above me and one garden unit below. Noise from above could be intense, especially if children and pets above you as was my case. The floor plan was fantastic and easy to care for. Very empressive to visitors. When I first moved in the management company and employees were wonderful. The maintence was superb. Shorty afterwards however , a new management company took over. And it seemed to go downhill quickly. The staff was very rude and less then freindly. I like those writing before me, had left my apartment in better then move in condition and yet they managed to keep my entire deposit. claiming they had to clean the blinds professionally ( I also had just had them cleaned) They charged me extra for painting which I can understand, however I lived there for more then 18 months and to be honest with you, it looked no different when I moved in then when I moved out. In fact, when I moved in,I cleaned under the washer and dryer machines, ( it hadnt been done prior to my move in) the top of the refrigerater hadnt been cleaned off and there were missing floor trim pieces. All of which I brought to the attention of management. But of course they charged me for such items when I moved out. Unfortunatly I moved out of state and didnt have the time or energy to contest anything. I think they were banking on that fact! Im back in Oregon and would love to move back to MSV because I really did like the apartment. It felt like more of a home then anything eles. But because of my past experiance with management, I am hesitant. If you move in, be sure to take before and after pictures and document document document! I cant say I recommend or do not, it depends on management now.
