i moved in back in 2005 and signed 2 leases (6 months) before going on a month to month payment plan due to leaving the area. While I was there, my rent jumped from 475 to 550 and i was told not to tell someone who was considering moving in what my starting rent was. I had mold issues in my apartment and grabbed the grounds crew guy (i was lucky he was there) and made him stop what he was doing to fix the mold issue. he didn't resolve it completely, but i figured i was moving out and they could fix it at their own convenience.

upon moving out, i was told they would replace the carpets so i wouldnt' pay carpet cleaning and that i would get 1/2 my deposit back. i called to ensure everything was done after moving out and was shocked to find out i was getting a $250 bill on top of them keeping my deposit--for painting and other "things" that weren't even wrong with the apartment, they just felt like charging me because i hadn't been there 18 months or longer.

the manager was nice to me and i had no problems with her (she was always available when needed) . i didn't expect to live in a top notch facility for what i was paying (the square footage and location were a nice bonus) but i didn't expect to get screwed on my way out the door either.
