The management staff apparently has no concept of reality. Rather than list dozens of complaints that have been met with irrational responses, let me illustrate one significant event: We were doing laundry one Saturday evening. The dryer control sparked and started burning. Fortunately, I happened to notice it before I shut the bifold doors, and we were able to put it out before any real damage besides some smoke occurred. We had reported the dryer at least two times as not functioning properly, and requested that it be inspected. We called the manager's emergency number to report it in the belief that somebody might be interested. It took two hours before finally getting through to an answering service. They finally sent the rent-a-cop by who took some notes and also complained about the non-response of the management team. The next day, we went over to report the fire and ask for another dryer. The on-duty manager never asked about the damages or the well-being of either of us, stated that he didn't think that there was an available dryer, and that he'd have a meeting on Monday with the manager about getting a dryer. Fortunately, a maintenance man wwas in the office and overheard the conversation and came over on his own to haul the burned dryer away, and then took the time to find a replacement. This happened 4 weeks ago, and we still haven't had anybody come by to see what happened.
