First off Jennifer the apartment manager is extremely nice and pleasant to talk with. She made moving in very easy. I was given lots of information about the surrounding area and even some coupons for pizza, tanning, etc. There was also a personalized welcome card sitting on my kitchen counter when I was given keys to move in along with a strainer, bag of noodles, and some pasta sause.
The apartments are close to 99w which is good. There is a dog park or a big field at the end of the street and since I have a dog that was good for me.
The first few weekends I've seen police on the street, but they were always at the other apartments near Pacific Crest not AT Pacific Creast itself. The area feels pretty safe to me, although I had one instance where someone approached my back porch door and was trying to get my dog's attention for some reason.
The fitness center is nice. No one is ever in there and you can close the doors and they lock just to be on the safe side anyways.
I haven't had any maintence problems so I'm not sure how fast they respond to a situation. But they do have doggie crap bags available for pet owners which I was thankful for.
Parking isn't a problem at all for me. I didn't have to pay extra for a spot there is always a spot close on the street for me or even in the parking lot near by there are several vistor spots that are rarely all taken. Also everything is pretty well lit in my area of the apartment complex. I feel safe walking my dog out in the front at night.
My only real complaints would be that I don't like apartments because you can hear your neighbors. My neighbors above are sometimes loud and I can hear when the run any water because it drains down my wall. But that is normal apartment living and I'm on the bottom floor so its expected to hear more noise.
Over all this isn't a bad place at all. Especially if you have pets. There are plenty of places for animals to run around at. Rent isn't too expensive and they have a laundry room or you can get a w/d provided for you in most apartments. There is also an awesome view from the top of Royality street looking over tigard/king city area.
