I lived here for 1 year prior to buying a condo in the Summerfield community. This is a quiet 55 community that has on-site staff and 24-hour service. The grounds are well maintained and the office staff is particularly helpful. I believe that there is Section 8 for some seniors. When someone moves the apartments are totally renovated (new carpeting, new paint, new blinds, new everything). The community has a swimming pool, clubhouse (with library), men's and women's gyms, pool tables, cards and various volunteer activities and organizations. I bought a condo in the community because I felt safe and I liked the atmosphere.
