We live in one of the larger buildings on the property, most of them are spread out and only have 4 units per building. I really don't like the builiding we're in due to the high volume of traffic right outside our bedroom windows at all hours of the night. I don't know if it's a problem in other buildings, but we live in a downstairs unit and it seems like we can hear everything that goes on in the unit above us. The toilets sound like they're going to fall through the ceiling every time they flush, it sounds like people are stomping around all the time, and the washing machines are terrible. You barely have a load in them and they shake like crazy, and make terrible noises. I cringe when the people upstairs do their laundry at night because it shakes our walls and keeps us from falling asleep. My biggest issue is the amount of noise you can hear through the walls and ceilings, it just seems like there's no barrier whatsoever. If you're not bothered by noise, no matter what time of day or night it is, this is the place for you. But if you're looking for peace and quiet, a place for rest and relaxation after a long day at work....don't live here. If it wasn't for our financial situation, we'd be looking for a new place once our lease is up, we're just not as happy as we had hoped.
