I have been here at Wellington Estates for a couple years. It had been a great place to live, except for some of the trashy people that the old management allowed to live here. It is still loud, lots of cars in and out all the time, and the parking is rediculous. Even after "new parking rules" and tags were implemented, the parking remains a problem.
The rent used to be reasonable, but it has skyrocketed to an amazing $850 without a garage. These places are way too old and dumpy to be $850/month.
New management came in and cleaneed some of the trashy prople, but the manager and her assistant are both unprofessional, openly opinionated, and unreasonable. Very difficult to work with on ANY issue. The Manageer, actually said to me once "I like to evict people" ... I was dumbfounded. It just doesn't get any more unprofessional than that. The maintenance guy is not qualified for his position. (not getting in to that this time). Just take my word for it.
Yes, the walls are thin, the outlets are old, the heating/gas bills are through the roof. Over $120/month for electric in a 2br apt is just out of hand and we don't have a lot of appliances or electronics. The gas bill is insane. Water and heat are on gas. Our bill averages $65/month.
There is just nothing about these apartments that is good. We are moving very soon.
