I lived at Wellington Estates for over 9 years. I had to move out of state for a while but when I came back I went back to Wellington!
I had a downstairs unit where I lived happily for 8 years with 4 different upstairs neighbors. In about February 2009 new neighbors moved in upstairs and my life became HELL!!!!! Management did nothing about the problem. Danica (the newest manager) seemed to think that I was over reacting. I was losing sleep and couldn't sit in my own living room for a peaceful evening. I asked the neighbors upstairs to be quiet and eventually cried and begged them to be quiet but to no avail. We had to beg management to get out of our lease and finaly they let us out. SWEET FREEDOM.
When I told Danica that I would never suggest that anyone I knew move here, she told me that I was being "threatening."

I do need to say that the newest manager (Danica) did do a very good job fixing the EXTREME parking PROBLEMS that have plagued this property the entire time I lived there.

Some of the tenants they allow to live here are of questionable citizenship.
There are UNSUPERVISED little kids playing catch in the parking lot and the ball hits cars all the time.
Management DOES NOT return phone calls promtly and in general Wellington is going downhill fast.
