I lived there for a year in a half. Not only did i witness a teenager about to swing a bat to my car, i got out and scared him off! The cops showed up within 2 minutes! Ran after them, seen the bats and they were standing by a car with bashed out windows. The police came back and said" I didn't see them hit any windows" .. Are you kidding me' I mean its ridiculous!. The managers are nice.. yea.. but when you call them more then once they are rude! My neighbors are a nightmare. They play music and my fixtures almost fall down. I have confronted them many times and complained. Finally we had a one on one with them and it got out of control. They are about to have a baby and you just wait when they hear the SUBS in my house at 1 AM! I have always been nice and walked my dog and picked up the poo. Neighbors here are all on SEC 8 or they are just stay at home moms that live off the government. All they do is stare outside and try and get into everybody's business. When you get something delivered it goes to the office and I had a 1500.00 computer from FEDEX.. it went to the office... they signed for it. I went in looked at it, picked it up. It came in 3 pieces.. The manager looked at me and didn't say anything. Someone could have just picked it up. They are so unprofessional and i hope one of their cars get broken into. I have walked up and down the parking lot to go and turn on the carport lights. Teenagers go out during the day and hit the switch that way its pitch black outside and so they can hit your car. If you have a Toyota Camry, Honda, Tacoma.. or if your car is unlocked you are screwed! Also all you smell is weed. I watch my neighbor on his patio with a 3 foot bong and the managers don't do crap. You would think since all the managers have kids they would want their kids to be safe in the neighborhood. If the maintenance guys ever came in my house without permission I would just laugh cause I wouldn't be surprised if my dog bit them. (Someone said they entered their home without permission) They are nice, don't get me wrong... But I am paying outta my butt for this place. Also... My lease is soon up and I cant wait to get out of here. I refuse to sign another. When I moved in the house it rank of URINE! The carpet was over 4 years old. I had to call them to have them clean it. I know for a fact when I move out I am not getting charged anything for the carpet. I counted every patch in my house. There is over 20!. Its embarrassing when you have people over and you have a crappy square in the middle of the hall that was placed in there horribly. Also look behind your closet doors. When you leave and if you damage to them, they just turn them around and make you pay 100.00. I have it all documented when I first moved in. They had my carpet cleaned right away AGAIN. But obviously just putting "smelly" spray on it, isn't going to take the soaked urine carpet smell away. If they had better lighting... They blocked the back of garages so kids cant come through from Halsey... and they had a gate, I bet this place would be great. Also no grass' Who has ever heard of a apartment with no grass' If you ask me they concentrate on the kids too much (because they babysit their own kids all day) and they should concentrate on the renters. I would love to turn them all in to the BIG BOSSES! I regret ever leaving my other apartments. I had it made there. I never heard my neighbor walk above me.

I take huge offense to your reference that all tenants here are on Section 8 or a free loading stay at home mom. I am a single mom. I do not receive housing assistance, nor do I sit around on my ass all day getting into other people's business. I work full time and go to school. I work hard to support my children with no help from their dad. And the only state assistance I get is for daycare. If the state didn't pay the daycare costs, I wouldn't be able to work. It's bad enough the state won't pay for daycare for me to be in class, that's all out of pocket!
Also, I have never witnessed any drug activity nor smelled anything. And believe me, I am no stranger to that lifestyle...I was raised around all that nonsense and garbage.
My carpet looked beautiful when I moved in. I know it wasn't new, but it was definitely clean and unpatched.

Why are you complaining when you moved here knowing that these are low income apartments? I guess you are just so much better than everyone else, right? You have a problem with the way the office handles packages, you know they do us a favor by signing for things when we are not home. I am pretty sure that they don't have to do that for us. I doubt your carpet was soaked with pee. I see carpets being replaced all the time, why would your apartmnet be an exception.
