Nice, but.....

After 4 years, you really get to know a place and who lives there and who owns it . . . that is, if they didn't change owners every 6 months or so. It was confusing to go back and forth on whether or not the pool would be open, or if we'd need a key to get in; changing the security locks on the workout room every few months (and making us pay for the new passwords or keys each time they did). And whoever said it was expensive for short term was definitely right, and if you refused to sign a lease for a certain amount of time, they'd bump up the rent on you and cut everyone else who had a lease a nice deal. Well, depending on the owners at the time, of course. There were nice ones, there were mean ones, there were indifferent ones. And of course every apartment complex has it's share of problems . . . but not many have at least 2 police officers living on site at any given time, or have places where you know if you park there, your car WILL get broken in to. Basically, I had fun there, despite the problems, because even after all that, it was still a wonderful place to live. It all depends on who you are and what you can handle.
