PROS:
-residents seem mostly nice and "clean"
-floorplans are of good size and variety
-grounds are nice, and along the west and north face forest/river. other nice locations overlook the pond/waterfall/pool area
-staff was friendly and helpful
-rent was about right

CONS:
-my unit seemed somewhat drafty..had to run my heat alot more in the winter than I normally have to
-could hear my neighbors above me walking across the apartment
-there were many, many notices about criminal activity on the grounds--mostly car break-ins. This is probably due to the fact that many of the parking areas are fairly dark, hidden, and have lots of bushes, etc. I had a garage, so it wasn't a concern.
-some of the "further-back" units have walkways/stairways in which you enter from the backside, and lighting was an issue. Didn't really bother me too much, but if I was a woman, I might be a little concerned. With the forest back there, and lots of shrubs/bushes, you never know.
-lots of unsupervised kids running around the parking lot all day long. I saw 2 kids in particular (about 8-10 yrs old) that were in the parking lot every day all afternoon/evening long. Didn't really bother me--I just felt sorry for them.

All in all, I enjoyed the year I spent there, and I would recommend it. Try to get an upper unit to cut down on the walking noise, and take a look at the lighting/shrubbery around your walkway if that's a concern of yours.
