A little indifferent

Having been an apartment dweller for years, this has not been the best but not the worst place to live. The walls are definately paper thin, so being a person that has a hard time sleeping this is a problem. I can hear my neighbors snoring, having normal conversations, or um *ahem* other things. Also the floors are very squeeky and I can hear every movement the person upstairs makes. Needless to say, the noise level made from everyday things becomes very irritating. As for parking, I eventually sprang the $20 to have a covered parking spot because if you get home later, there is no parking (but that's been the same for most places I've lived). Having worked in landscaping the landscape isn't that impressive. At first glance it looks nice but it's not the best maintained. The pool gets really dirty in the summer from the trees around it and if you want it cleaned, you better be prepared to clean it yourself. The nice thing is that there are wood burning fireplaces, so if the cost of using electric heat is too much just hang out in the living room with a nice fire. The staff is very friendly and nice but don't ask about complicated matters. Also, maintenance is ok, I've had a lot of problems since moving in such as broken heaters, floorboards falling apart, a broken dishwashers, clogged drains. And it seems like the drains never totally get unclogged even when you ask and my water heater didn't work when I first moved in. So if you move in, make sure everything works!!! I love my floor plan for being a one bedroom apartment, especially the little bar area in the dining area.
Overall, my experience hasn't been good nor bad. I am pretty indifferent because it is average like most apartments.
