I despise living here and am moving the end of this month. Our trailers was stolen, cars broken into, and neighbors are terrible. On top of all that they want you to pay over $1000 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment. Why' To be completely miserable. The staff is not helpful or friendly like they used to be. They also towed one of my vehicles when I was on vacation-wasn't that nice of them! So unless you want siders pounding on your house, nails all over the parking lot, maintenance who never dumps the garbage go spend your hard earned money somewhere else. Believe me its not worth the hassle.

*CAUTION* - BE SURE to watch how the "Chicago based" management company and current manager "calculate" your refundable fees and deposits upon surrender of your apartment - they charge $5 for EACH drip pan for the stove($20)(nothing in writing to support this charge - just their verbal "you owe") PLUS $75 for having any ashes left in the fireplace (again, nothing in writing to support this charge - just their verbal "you owe") - the current manager there and the "Texas based regional manager" are NOT acknowledgeable in Oregon law and the 30 day deadline required for management to have your refunds to you together WITH an itemization of HOW any additional charges that were deducted from any refunds/security deposits due you were applied and WITH documented receipts!! BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL and "DOCUMENT" all your dealings with the manager (who is very rude and doesn't give a damn about being that way) and staff from now on - They don't even LOOK UP your current lease (which THEY ASSUMED when the new owners bought out the old owners) - you won't regret it like we did!! NOT a friendly manager nor management company and they don't care!! Current manager even cursed profusely at a knowledgeable apartment management friend who tried to help us!! Good luck and be GLAD you're getting out of there

I cant imagine that the current manager cursed at you. From reading your response it sounds like you are the only one cursing.This sounds like you are just upset with being charged for things, cause I moved out and moved into Hedges Creek like 2 months ago and was charged for my water bill and my drip pans, but this was all. I will admit that my fireplace was clean. I like Forest Rim, and cant stand Hedges Creek, and will be moving back there. I actually spoke with the manager when I moved out and she walked through the place with me, and she was a real nice girl who I think is getting a bad rep from this webpage. I will agree that they must be cleaning the place up as it was a little crazy with problematic neighbors when I lived there. have a friend who still lives here who says that some of the people are crazy and are upset over rent increases and are posting mean letters about the management, so dont believe everything that you read, some need to get a life. I just wanted to be able to give my thoughts, and will be moving back in.
