Forest Rim is a great looking complex, nice floor plans, with a good amount of space in each unit. Those things might be great and all but it's the negitives that completely outwieght the positives.
Parking is a joke; nobody wants to pay the $30 a month for a parking space so all the guest spots are taken by 5:00pm each night. To save your sanity you might as well tack on an extra $30 per month on your rent for each car in your family.
The rent they charge is WAY over priced for what you get. I didn't mind this at first thinking that the higher price would bring in a more respectable crowd that cared about where they lived-not the case. Lots of parties, broken down cars in the lot, and at least once a month the cops were there for some sort of situation.
When you finally get the chance to move out don't plan on getting your deposit back. Even though you've spent thousands of dollars in rent at Forest Rim during the term of your lease you are still responsible for the cost of clean up and replacing anything that is not brand new because you've used it. Even if you think that you'll clean the place from top to bottom before you move out and you'll get your money back, not so fast-you probably didn't do it good enough and they basiclly charge you to have someone do it again.
I never had a problem with staff or maintenance at Forest Rim, I would have to say all the problems would probably be traced right back to upper management.
Save yourself the headaches and look for an apartment where it's more like a community-not a business.
