Hello,
Well for the most part the office people are friendly at Forest Rim. They do tend to UNDERSTAFF themselves, making it hard to talk with someone when the only office person on site that day is out showing an apartment. When the office people are there they are friendly and helpful.
The maintenance people are great! Always geting things corrected ASAP.
Neighbors that smoke...Well you'll have a problem. If your upstairs the smoke comes stright up into your apartment. On a nice, summer night, you'll need to close your windows unless you like the smell of smoke invading your apartment. If the neighbors are smoking other things (not cigs) well that will come through the walls and invade your rooms also. To bad it is not a NON -SMOKING community.
It's an awsome place if you need to walk your dog, as there is a park close by with great trails to walk on.
Parking..well yes you park in different spots nightly, but a great way to get some exercise. Just the hard part was remembering where you parked so you could get there the next day. I felt that each apartment should of been given one parking slot, but no you need to pay extra for that.
Garage access good , however well overpriced. Do not pay more than $ 60.00 mthly for one.
Mold tends to grow here. Don't know why but they are aware of MOLD issues as you have to sign a paper about it when moving in.
The rent was OVERPRICED when I did live there (1399). Now it is more resonable (999) for a 3 bedroom.
Yes police were there so was the SWAT team and canine units...but it was always a safe place to live. I never felt threatened...Just others with FAMILY ISSUES ....Normal stuff these days. I would walk around the apartment building (trying to loose weight) 11:00 at night...never felt scared.
Loved having Petco, Jamba Juice, mcDonalds and restarants close by...You could walk to them.
Would I move back' Yes I'm actually considering it. If the prices stay down. I wish I could BUY one of the apartments.
It has it's good and bad...But I tend to focus on the good more so.
The swimming pool and hot tub those were great.
The work out room, it was basic, but that is all I needed there. It worked great :)
