Currently live at this apartment complex and not very happy about it. The office staff is very nice, I will say that. And the landscaping and outside look of the apartments is not bad at all. The problem is they put all the work into attracting new tenants and not keeping the current ones. They make everything look good from the outside but once you start living in them you realize what a mess you got yourself in. I have lucked out with pretty good neighbors but they are moving in and out like crazy. They cannot keep tenants at this complex.
We have had a major mold problem since we have been here. YES this is Oregon and there is mold but this is just rediculous!! The windows literally rain in the house. We have had to clean the mold on a monthly occasion and its back a week later. Instead of the staff cleaning the vaulted ceiling window they just brought me their ladder. I actually went as far as to call the company president. They responded quickly and someone from the management company came to see me. But instead of fixing the problem they just masked it. They painted over the mold. It started leaking even before the paint was dry leaving paint straks all down the windows. And two weeks later the mold soaked thru again. They try and act stupid and ignore the dangers mold can cause on health with those with a compromised immune system such as myself. I have been sick ever since we moved here!!!
The parking is horrible. We had to pay 25.00 to get a spot which is still a ways from our apartment. For our second car we normally have to park down at the bottom of the hill and hike home.
The playground is falling apart. The benches have broken several times, instead of replacing them they try and jimmy rig them together.
Basically they dont do any real fixing of the problems, they just try and mask all of the problems and pretend they arnt there.
And the utilities are outrageous. They tell you a certain ammount when you move and and come to fine out its three times that ammount. We pay more for our water bill then we did in a house twice the size, what a rip off.

This is absolutely true. We even move to a second unit to try to get away from some of these problems that they do not take care of but it is there to. When we moved into the 2nd unit, we were doing the movin inspection, and told them we wanted the hand railing for the stairs fixed since it could easily be pulled out(due to a quick, junky fix job). My wife was pregnant at the time and we did not want her to slip on the stairs and have the railing pull out on her. 12 months later still not fixed. We have had the same mold problems at both units. They say you have to use bleach on a weekly basis, what a great thing to be put on all the windows when you have kids and animals. They could easily go over and get this all over their hands or paws, and into the mouth, plus the smell is horrible to have every 7days. we were told utilities would be around 30/month and our utilities are in upwards of 100/month. we rented an old house with very poor insulation, and never came close to these costs. They came and did their annual inspections, and i decide to go out for a smoke later that night. come to my suprise, they left the apt keys, and mailbox key in our deadbolt. These could have been taken by the wrong person and we would have never known. These are the minor problems we have had here in the past 18months. We are currently moving out due to so many problems. Some of the neighbors i have spoke to have the same issues as us. Some are also moving out. I live in the townhouse side and see huge amounts of turnover. i would not ever recommend this complex.
