Stop Complaining!

These apartments are not as bad as people make them out to be. First of all, the mold is not the management's fault. When we first moved in, they specifically told us to crack a window while doing the laundry because the windows are plexi-glass, and will steam up inside. Just like a glass of cold water on a hot day. Moisture is created.
And the parking is a little bad, but there is always a place to park. It may not be as close to home as you want, but there are always spots open.
Second of all, they did not raise our rent after we moved in. Since we moved in before the rule was enforced, we dont have to pay as much as people who are just coming in.
Lastly, I dont know why people are so hung up on the maintenance situation. Right now, there are only two people operating all the apartments due to the recent selling of the complex, they are short on staff right now. So cut the guys a break. They have other appointments to take care of all day long.
Overall, this complex isnt bad at all. At least there arent -------- and kids running everwhere. Be thankful, guys.

I don't know where your magical parking spaces come from, because I lived there for two years and there was never a place to park after 8pm within three hundred yards of my apartment. And thick, black mold growing around all the windows is not caused by washing your tighty-whiteys once a week.

I agree with the response. My husband has come home more then once saying "I can't wait to have a house so I don't have to walk home". We do have a space but sometimes I have to take it because I groceries to bring up. Also, ever since the change over we have not been impressed. These new owners have claimed to want to improve this place but I haven't seen it. Our lease is up in December but I've been seriously considering breaking it to buy a house. These people with their new rules are retarded. They say that we can only go 5mph in the parking lot and that is unreasonable. I've tried to go 5mph...the golf carts go faster then that. 10mph is reasonable. But then again, more rules that will never be enforced. The recent rash of vandalism is very unnerving. Yet another reason why I want to move. And our rent got raised last December from $755 to $800. I would love to get a garage but I can't afford to pay an additional &75/mo for 4 more walls. My monthly payment is $825 as it is with the space. I miss the old staff. They seemed like they actually cared about us and our little puppy.
As for the windows, I'm looking forward to the warmer weather when I can really clean them. It would be wonderful if they would just update the apartments with better windows that don't leak. We bought a dehumidifier so help with the water that condenses on the bedroom window sill. Lastly, the rule about not attaching anything to the building is completely unfair. I hate that my satellite dish is on a tripod on my deck. I would much rather have it attached to the roof like a normal person so I don't have to keep looking at it. These folks are very controlling and don't seem to care about the comfort of the tenants. We're paying out of our hard earned money and we deserve more!!!

I completly disagree theres no excuse for the way this complex is run. Im already crammed in this tiny over priced molding aparmtne as it is then I was told I can not keep my childrens bikes on the porch MY PORCH that i pay for. Well do tell where bikes are supposed to be stored because at this moment they are in my living room. What a great decoration piece that is
