I don't understand what everyone is complaining about.

My biggest complaint about the complex is the parking. Each apartment is only given one assigned space and there's a lot at the front of the complex, but who wants to walk that far in the rain. And visitor parking within the complex is very limited. The washer/dryer in unit is really small, not worth the extra $20 a month.
But on a good note, the staff has been very friendly and inviting. The free video rentals are great, though not a huge selection, still good to have.
I too am from Southern California, and to get an apartment at this price down there, we'd have to be living in the ghetto.
I have no complaints about our neighbors either.

I agree, office and maintenance are very nice and willing to help, I love the free movie rentals. Parking is a nightmare at times, especially Friday and Saturday nights. I thought about getting a garage but don't want to spend an additional $100 per month
