The apartment complex has lost it's appeal in that it is now much shabbier than when we first moved in. The maintenance and upkeep is poor and sporadic. It often takes more than 1 request to have something fixed or at the very least several days before it is completed. The noise level between levels is astoundingly loud. And to complain about the noise levels is ignored. The complaints about tenants not abiding by contractual agreements for usage of laundry in apartments is totally ignored. They have allowed dogs on the premises, however, it all depends on who you are as to if you can have the dog. They do not enforce the inside only pet/cat clause either. THis combined with the lack of additional assigned parking if you have more than 1 vehicle and driver is very difficult to manage. The rents are raised every year in an income restricted location whether or not you have recieved a raise or not - they state it is due to inflation. However, it is very rare that the whole complex gets the updates that it should. The garbage dumpsters are frequently overflowing and look like filthy, and are not cleaned when they change out the containers. I would have to say the new manager has managed to disillusion me in regards to recommending this complex to any friends or family. I am looking to move.
