A little disappointed

I must admit that I was a little disappointed in this place.....
The website pictures created a nice first impression and when you pull into the complex the office area was very nice. Which is where I would say most of the money went when they developed the complex, because for the price you will pay to rent here I expected much more in the quality of the apartment. I was on a month to month lease and maybe they reserve certain apartments for these types of tenants, but I was definitely disappointed since I paid a higher rent then someone on a lease. I would have to say that the quality was probably the worst out of any apartment I have rented and I have rented a handfull.
When I called the complex to ask if they had air-conditioning since I was moving in during the summer months I was told "This is Oregon, you don't need air-conditioning". Well anyone from Oregon, which I am, knows that there is always at least 4-6 weeks during the summer months where you really wished you had air-conditioning. Also, keep in mind I was told this from someone who sitting in a nice air-conditioned office at the time.
But, it's not all bad. The staff for the most part were easy to deal with. Even though the quality was poor the apartment was big. The views (at least from my apartment facing west) were nice. And there was a swimming pool for the hot summer nights that you were baking in your non-air-conditioned apartment
