We have lived here for 5 years. The office staff is great. Have to agree that some of previous staff were not nearly as good. Present staff is excellent. Responsive and friendly.
Maintenance staff is excellent. Very quick response and friendly.
Location is a close walk to Safeway, Starbucks, and City Hall. Very quiet.
Some mold on outside decks etc, that should be cleaned up.
Carpets are poor quality and are difficult to keep looking nice.
New equipment in exercise room. Computers are nice when ours is down. Copiers are available for residents.
Nice lounge that can be used by residents for parties. Free coffee, cookies, and newpapers/magazines in lobby. New large flat panel TV in lobby area.
Rents keep going up, but mostly just COL increases.
Have a covered parking place, but always plenty of available spots outside.
Good washer and dryer included. Also, kitchen has built-in microwave, garbage disposal, and dishwasher in addition to refrig and oven/range. Lots of cupboards and pantry storage unit. Very well insulated and heat hardly ever comes on except in very cold weather.
Hot tub and pool open year round.

I find it funny that everytime a poor review of Cascade Summit is posted (Maybe by a third grader) another AWESOME one just appears right after. I also find it funny that they always mention how great the staff is NOW.

This is a decent apartment... but the pool is definitely not open year around (it is advertised that way, I don't know why they won't change that). Watch out for citations being issued for having anything on your deck that isn't a barbecue... there was no warning about that!
