I lived here for a little over a year. It was only this long due to the fact I had to sign a year lease. Many things went wrong in my apartment. My bathroom downstairs(the one next to the living room and the one guests would normally use) remained broken for seven months. The constant leak eventually penetrated the floor and onto my downstairs neighbor's son's bed. My electric bill was incredibly high because of the bad insulation. It quadrupled after moving into these apartments! The garbage bins were outside my apartment and the garbage remained in them for long periods of time...there seemed to be no regular pickup date. I had a leaking upstairs bathroom that was covered up by paint. I brought my mom over to see them and ran into the manager doing so, although he claimed the leak had been fixed. By the time we were moving out, the leak had made it's way through the new paint and began dripping on the floor again. The walls were very thin, we could hear the rap music played day and night and the baby ALWAYS crying on the other side of the wall. The apartments were bought out while we lived there. We had hoped a new owner would mean changes. Nothing changed for the better. On a good note, there was always plenty of parking for our unit. The floorplan of the apartment was nice looking with all the big staircases. The apartments were usually decently quiet minus the mexican rap and the screaming baby. The price was pretty good for such a big apartment..although they had no washer/dryer hookups.
