So, I lived there 2004. I met the manager, though he wasn't technically the mananger, rather the grounds person, but the owner used him as a manager. I can't quite remember his name, but he was old and kinda "off guy" if you know what I mean. I moved in, happy with the low rent, and then realized why. The cops were over on several occasions arresting the so called "manager" for child porn on his computer. FYI, he is no longer there after years and years despite the fact that the owner always had his back. I let my new puppy out for a walk, turned my back for a second and a neighbor had stole her. I heard from other neighbors that a crack head was bragging about her new puppy, and after a police investigation, I got her back. Seriously, Mel Matthews, the owner, wants as little to do with this place despite the monthly check.

Why after 4 yrs now you leave the review? The complex has had a new Manager for almost 4 yrs now. Our tenant are very important to us, as well as the opinion of our neighbor and community members. We are excited to inform you that our complex at Robinwood Village has made some change that we would hope would change your opion. Please stop by anytime we would love to show you around and feel you will be happy with the community now. And please understand that at that time the owner was fighting terminal cancer, he is a great landlord and is very personal with all of his tanants as well.

Then why the hell doesn't the managers address the bad behavior with those doing it? Make it nice for the rest of us. The meth &/or crack people will be getting regular visits from the police as long as I'm here - haven't been here all that long & have been looking for another place where there's a bit of respect.

The crack-heads and tweakers are friends of the manager, and she is a pill-head from what I was told.

Here's the low-down. The manager is best friends with the family of one of the maintenance men, who is the dope dealer of the complex. His uncle is a big-time-tweaker who gets to live there due to this tight knit dysfunctional family thing there. Also, weird fat troll-looking woman who wears 70's style puffy blue jacket (and has weird dog) spies on everybody for the big fat manager.

I lived in these apartments from January till june 2008 and LOVED it! My departure was to take care of family. The apartment Manager and Owners are upfront and honest people. I never once had any issues with either of them.
Due to the chemical abuse problems STATEWIDE, you have bad neighbors occasionally; but you have to have their behavior documented( ie calling the police)in order to get rid fo them. If you have problems with your neighbors- call the police- they will be dealt with. Quit blogging negativity against these apartments as they are good apartments, good management, and one fo the rare places that are accepting and human. In Fact, i am returning there at their next open apartment. If you ahve something negative to say about this place- keep it to yourself!

I have read almost all of these reviews and have decided not to consider this complex. Besides the constant messages regarding drug activity and negligent management, it's also apparent by the lack of proper grammar and spelling that these apartments are full of uneducated delinquents and I do not want my family anywhere near this trash. It????????????????????????s sad really, the apartments themselves seem very nice; too bad their filled with unsafe rubbish.
