I am a resident at Willamette Terrace and have been for about 4 years. Pros: safe neighborhood, great school district, reasonable rent, grounds are kept up, pool is clean, security mailboxes, w/d in unit (some not all), ample parking (one reserved), close to shopping, vinyl windows, lots more. Cons: kitchens/bathrooms are not updated (although I did have new appliances when I moved in), closet doors (ugh!) and there is a weird support beam that runs right through the middle of the apartment living/dining area 2 and 3 bedroom (could be worse).

Management changed in June 2007 and no longer onsite. This caused some havoc in the pool area after hours, but I think that was taken care of (we shall see next summer). Management is quick to fix maintenance issues. Rent is reasonable, but you get what you pay for (no frills). If you are looking for an updated, new apartment this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a safe place to call home at a reasonable price, they are worth a look at. Home is what you make it.

10/2008 - Well, we made it through a summer with new management and she is wonderful. Pool stayed quiet during evening hours(yea!) and management is still QUICK to fix any maintenance issues. Still a quiet, nice community to live in (well, less the kids playing out in the courtyard during day, but hey! If you don't like kids you probably shouldn't move into a place with a playground!)

04/2009- Management suxs, maintence is good at least when the one guy that has been there for a while was there. I just recenlty moved out of there on the 31 of march and it was horrible. When we moved in it was a great deal the manager was so nice. Atleast at the time she was nice, she just does it to get you in. I had mold in my apartment that you would not belive, Don't get me wrong I am very clean and make sure that my apartment got enough air flow. When I tould the manager she simple had the maintance guy come in and clean the walls down with tillex bathroom cleaner, it turned out that all three of the levels of the apartment had mold in the same areas. Then they had a contracter come out and make sure that the building code were up to code. Turns out the walls were rotted out. I would not recomend anyone to live there. Hopefully no one has to go throw what we when through.

5/2009 I have mold under my tile in the bathroom from the past tenant. Management won't replace the tile (too much money) or clean underneath as long as there is no leaks.
