We had lived here for over four years. This used to be a good place to live. The freeway is very close and provides for a signifigant amount of noise, but you truly get used to it. The problem is the newer staff. Refridgerators in my and neighbors apts are failing and if they are running at all, they will not repair or replace. Does not matter that food is not kept at safe temp. The grounds have trash frequently and the buildings, stairwells, railings, decks and decorative elements are in terrible disrepair. There is a rock face on the stairwell in a neighboring building that is coming away from the wall and they have simply attached a nylon tow-strap to hold it up....even almost 18 months later there is no permanenant repair. The schools are great, and there is very close access to grocery stores and to the freeway. The rent rises at staggering degrees every year with little upgrades to the apts or grounds. We will not be renewing our lease.

Well I have to agree, if things don't pick up soon, I also will not be renewing my lease. Not sure what has been going on lately, but the trash issue is going to drive me nuts! I am tired of looking out my window and seeing overlfowing trash bins. I am tired of picking up gross, wet, soggy trash in the parking lot when I am taking out my trash (but if I don't do it, it will sit there for days). For the first time since I have lived here, maintanence did not put salt on the stairwells during the snow storm. The cheap rent may not be worth the price of living here.
